What Does Rooting Android Phone Mean?
Let Me Put it Simple, Rooting Means Giving our-self Administrative Rights, Just Like in Windows Operating System.Once The Root Rights Are Granter or Accessed We Can Run Certain Applications Through Which System Settings Can Be Tweaked. Also Once We Are Rooted We Can Install Custom Roms and Completely Change The Look of The Device. So Rooting is a Procedure Done To Gain Administrative Rights to Our Smartphone.

What are The Benefits of Rooting Android?

1.Can Install  Incompatible Apps

2.Boost Your Phone Speed and Battery Life

3.Block Annoying Advertisements

4.Remove Preinstalled Bloatware

5.Can Install Custom Rom's

6.Get Full Control

Rooting Terms:

1. Flash: Flash is Term Which Refers to Install in Actual Terminology, Rom, Kernel, Recovery are The Things Which Are To Be Flashed.

2. Rom: In Simple, Rom is a Modified Version of Android O.S With Extra Features and Settings That Your Present Rom Might Not Have. The Rom Can Be Flashed Once The Device is Rooted and Has a Custom Recovery.

3. Kernel: Kernel is The Component of The Operating System That Connects The Hardware and Software Modules of Android Device. For Every Device There is Separate Kernel Which Needs to Be Flashed Before Installing a New Rom.

4. Brick: There Seems Quite Misunderstanding between The Word Brick and Boot loop. Brick Generally means Device Not Functioning or Not Powering up At All, There is Small Risk involved While Flashing Custom Roms on to our Device Which Leads to Brick Situation, But There are Many Solutions Available For That Also.

5. Bootloader: To Flash a Custom Rom Bootloader Must Be unlocked, So Bootloader Means it is The Lowest Level of Software Which Play Key Role in Powering Up The Device. Most Phones Come With Locked Bootloader.

6. Recovery: Recovery Means it a Dos Menu Type Program in Android, Which Allows You to Backup/ Restore and Flash Custom Roms onto Your Device. TWRP, CWM(clockwordmod) are Few Custom Recoveries.

So The Sole Purpose Being, Know What You Are Dealing With Before Proceeding Further, There are Some Disadvantages also Like Stuck in Bootloop, Brick Situation or Device Slowing Down But At The End The Advantages Cover Up The Loop Holes.
